RU‑58841 scalp reaction – what signs should I look out for?

I started a trial of RU‑58841 about six weeks ago to see if it could slow my hair loss. I followed the usual 50 mg per mL vehicle, applying it daily to the scalp. The first week I had a bit of dryness and a mild prickling feel. By week three the area around my temples started to look a bit red and flaky. I wasn’t sure if it was just the vehicle or the compound itself. I did a quick online search and found that contact dermatitis canigerise in about 5–10 % of users, especially if the solution isn’t fully diluted or if you have sensitive skin. I switched to a gentler fragrance‑free vehicle and added a few drops of aloe gel to soothe the irritation, and the redness subsided.
I’m wondering if anyone else has seen similar reactions, and what concentration or skin test you did before starting. Also would a lower dose (say smalleramak mL) make a big difference? Any tips for keeping the scalp calm without losing efficacy would be appreciated.
