Trying Argireline Topical for Wrinkles – Early Results?

Not gonna lie, I’ve been dabbling in Argireline for the past few weeks because the idea of a “topical Botox” sounded too good to be a myth. I’m using that 5 % gel, two times a day, on the forehead and around the eyes, and it’s been surprisingly gentle. The tingling at first was odd but faded after a day.
I’ve noticed a mild reduction in the deep frown lines; they’re not as pronounced when I look in the mirror, and the skin feels a little firmer. I read that Argireline competes with SNAP‑25 to dampen muscle contraction, so that might explain the effect. I’ve kept my other skincare unchanged, so I think the difference is largely from the peptide.
I’m keen to keep going for another month and see if the effect holds or improves. If anyone else’s had similar experience or any tips on layering with other peptides, I’d love to hear.

- practicalluis: Ngl, i’ve tried argireline in a cream before and saw a similar mild smoothing after a month, no dramatic Botox‑level lift, but the lines were a bit softer and the skin felt tighter. The 5 % concentration is high, so i keep a small amount and let it absorb for a few minutes before applying anything else. I layer a hyaluronic acid serum first, then the peptide, and finish with a broad‑spectrum sunscreen; the acid helps the peptide penetrate better. Also i’ve seen people combine it with matrixyl o
- greg208: Thanks for the tip – I’ll start loading a small amount of the 5 % gel, wait a few minutes for it to absorb, then top it on thin layers of HA serum before my sunscreen. I’ve been using the gel twice a day as is, so using it after HA might give my skin an extra lift. Have you actually mixed Argireline with Matrixyl or Serpentin and seen a noticeable tightening effect?
