Mild nausea after Alpha‑Lipoic Acid injections – any tricks to smooth it out?

I started taking injectable Alpha‑Lipoic Acid (200 mg twice a week) about two months ago to help with my blood sugar swings and general fatigue. The first few doses left me feeling a bit queasy and nauseous – enough that I had to pause the injection for a couple of days before resuming. I’m not sure if it’s a common issue or just my body reacting to the antioxidant load.
I’ve tried taking it with a light snack, jumping straight into bed, and even lowering the dose to 150 mg, but the nausea still pops up on some days. Anyone else noticed a similar reaction? Any routine changes (timing, food, hydration) or additional supplements that helped calm the stomach? I’m keen to keep using ALA but would love to avoid that uncomfortable side effect.
