Nasal Irritation & Mild Headache After Switching to NA‑Selank

I’ve been using NA‑Selank for the past few weeks as my go‑to anxiolytic. I started at 200 mcg twice a day, intranasal. The first few doses felt fine, but after about a week I noticed a persistent burning in the nose and occasional sneezing.

By the end of the month the irritation was constant and even got worse when I was dehydrated. I also started experiencing a dull, low‑level headache that seemed to come on after the second dose, especially if I was late at night. It’s not a severe pain but enough to make me question whether I should keep the spray.

I’ve tried using a saline rinse before each dose to ease the dryness, and it seems to help a bit, but the irritation still lingers. Anyone else have noticed similar side effects, or is there a hydration trick that worked for you?

I found that staying hydrated helped a lot – I’d drink a glass of water right before each spray and keep a water bottle on my desk. I also tried jogging for a few minutes after the first dose, just to get blood flowing, and that seemed to Derrick the headache bit. Have you tried a light nasal rinsing routine or a humidi
