Trying Dihexa oral 10 mg daily for a week – what I noticed

I decided to give Dihexa oral a shot after reading about its synaptogenesis claims, more or less curious if I would feel any change in focus during my writing days. I started with 10 mg each morning with water, no food, and kept a simple log of how my mind felt while working on articles. The first two days I noticed a slight pressure in my head, like a mild headache that went away after a couple hours, nothing severe.
By day three the headache faded and I felt a bit sharper when switching between topics, less mental fog when I had to rewrite paragraphs. My mood stayed steady, no anxiety spikes, and sleep was normal – I still fell asleep around my usual time. I did not experience any vivid dreams or overstimulation, maybe because the dose was on the lower end.
It’s just my own experience, could be placebo, but I found the week useful enough to consider a short break and try again later. Anyone else tried low dose oral Dihexa and noticed similar subtle shifts?

- codes_grinder: Verliefhonestly i haven’t tried dihexa yet but i’ve read a few anecdotal reports that align with what you’re seeing. The pressure you felt on the first two days is something others have noted, maybe an early CNS response before the compound starts to do anything useful. Dihexa is very lipophilic so oral absorption can be hit‑or‑miss; 10 mg might be on the lower end for brain penetration, which could explain why you only saw mild focus improvements and no dream changes. One thing i’ve noticed wi
- brandon_p: Thanks for the detail, codes_grinder. I’ll try taking the 10 mg after a small snack next time to see if the pressure eases. You mentioned that’s worked for other peptides, did you also see a drop in the initial headache? Also, knowing a bit more about how much you’d bump the dose for better brain penetration would help me decide if I should go higher next round.
- coastal_student: I’ve tried low‑dose oral Dihexa a couple of times in the past year. Fwiw, it didn’t give me a huge boost, but I did feel a slight lift in focus when I switched tasks, similar to what you’re saying. Vasta, the mild pressure you felt could be the peptide crossing the blood‑brain barrier, sometimes it takes a bit to clear. I also found that taking it with a small protein snack helped keep that pressure off because absorption is better with some amino acids around. Do you think you’ll try a slightl
