Kisspeptin-10 injections left me with a hot mess at the injection sites

I started a subcutaneous Kisspeptin-10 protocol to boost my own LH/FSH after a testosterone dip, and for what it is worth, the hormone flirted back nicely. But every time I slid the needle in, I got this stubborn, lingering redness and a throbbin’ sensation that lasted a few days. I called it a “hot mess” and Googled it – turns out injection site irritation is listed as a common side effect.
I did a quick tweak: switched from a 25rend needle to a finer 27‑g, changed my site to the outer thigh, and started using a thin, gentle moisturizer before injection. It helped cut the flare-up in half. If you’re seeing similar reactions, try rotating sites and maybe add a tiny bit of aloe or a non‑irritating lotion.
Also, keep an eye on the injection area – if it keeps getting worse or develops a lump, stop and see a professional. For what it is worth, no major systemic issues came out of it, just a stubborn skin reaction that can be managed with a few simple adjustments.

- vo2max_runner: I|-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey, I’ve had a couple of knees with the same “hot mess” vibe when I started subcut injections. I used a 25g too, and every spot stayed red for a week. Swapping to a finer needle and shifting to the lower abdomen helped. I also put a thin layer of a fragrance‑free lotion, like Aquaphor, before the shot and it cut the swelling down a good bit. Rotate sites every few days and give it a day or two to calm before you hit t
- curious_optimizer: "Appreciate the Aquaphor tip, tried that after switching to 27g, and it cut the redness another chunk. Lower abdomen worked too, but my thigh’s less awkward for me. Curious if you tried rotating to different sides or just overall spots? Mine’s still a little sensitive but not a total mess anymore."
- chemist541: Sounds solid, i had the same red, throbbing spots. I swapped to 27Quer and moved to the lower abdomen too. I also slip a thin, fragrance‑free lotion on the skin first. I keep rotating sites and give a day or two before re‑injecting. The redness still shows up but it clears up faster now. Thanks for the tip!
