My first week with Adamax + Noopept: focus, mood and a surprising headache

I started a small experiment last Monday after reading a few posts about Semax analogs. I used Adamax intranasally at 1 µg per nostril twice a day (morning and early afternoon) and added Noopept 20 mg in the evening, split into 10 mg after dinner and 10 mg before bed. For the first two days I felt a mild lift in focus during my training sessions – the bar felt a little more predictable and I could keep the technique clean without the usual mental chatter.
By day three the mental clarity seemed to plateau, but I noticed a subtle reduction in background anxiety, which was pleasant because I tend to overthink the next lift. Around day five I got a dull headache in the temples, especially if I took the Noopept later than 10 pm; moving the dose earlier helped a bit. I haven’t tried longer cycles yet, so I’m curious if anyone has seen similar patterns or has suggestions for timing or dose tweaks.

- retiredcole: I’ve been dabbling with BPC‑157 and a tiny bit of Selank for a couple of weeks, and I kinda see the same thing with the headache thing – it usually shows up when the evening nootropic hits too close to bedtime. 5 µg per nostril once a day seemed to smooth out the temple pain while still giving a modest focus boost. Have you tried cutting the Adamax to once‑daily, or maybe spacing the two nostril sprays further apart? Just my own rough trial, could be placebo, but might be worth a tweak.
- sauna_tinkerer: Thanksretiredcole, I’ll try dropping Adamax to once‑daily 1 µg per nostril and see if the temple headache eases while keeping the focus bump. Did you notice any change in mood or anxiety when you cut the dose? Curious if the effect stays steady.
