Scalp irritation after starting RU-58841 – how to soften the burn

I started using ru-58841 about a month ago for scalp thinning. I mixed 50 milligrams in a 1ml carrier, applied it once daily. The first few days i noticed a rash and itching around the application sites, thin, dry patches, a bit burning.
Anecdotally this felt worse if my scalp was already dry from summer heat. I tried adding a light moisturizer after application, but the irritation still persisted after about a week. I switched the carrier to a more soothing ointment, cut the dosage to 30 milligrams, and only applied every other day.
The skin calmed up, though hair regrowth(operator) slowed a bit. I didn't see any systemic effects, just local irritation and mild contact dermatitis. If you’re hitting the same issue, i’d recommend testing a lower concentration or a gentler vehicle before committing to daily use. Keep an eye on how your skin reacts, and remember that less can mean still effective with less hassle.
