Pinealon injection site itching – is this normal or something to worry about?

’elle, I’ve been trying Pinealon at 5 mg daily for about two weeks now. The stuff’s a bit of a mystery to me – it’s a tripeptide, so I thought it would be pretty mild, but I’ve been scratching the same spot on my thigh every time I inject. I only use a 27‑g needle, and I always inject into the same area.

I’ve read that mild irritation is common, but I’m not sure if it’s a sign of an allergic reaction or just a normal reaction to the peptide. I also get a tiny, brief burn right after it, then it fades. I haven’t had any swelling or warmth, just the itch.

Have you tried an OTC antihist Automobile cream, and if so, did it help with the brief burn and itch? Also, do you notice any subtle redness after the first 10‑15 mins?
