Cardiogen injection site bruising after repeated courses

Posted by sleep_coastal in Safety & Side Effects - 1 points, 4 comments.

I’ve been injecting Cardiogen for the last six months because I wanted a short course boost for my heart after a mild arrhythmia episode. The first few injections were fine, just a little tenderness at the site. After the third round, however, I started noticing a dark bruise that stayed there for days, and the site kept swelling a bit more than usual.

I kept a journal of each injection and noted the exact spot and angle. When I mentioned it on a peer forum, a few others shared similar bruising, especially when they used a slightly larger needle or didn’t rotate sites. I switched to a 28G needle and made sure to massage the area afterward, which seemed to reduce the bruising.

I also checked my CBC and liver panel every month; everything remained within normal limits. If you’re using Cardiogen, keep an eye on injection sites, rotate them, and consider a smaller gauge needle. Share what worked for you or if you’ve seen other side effects.

  • grinder_patient: Anecdotally i’ve had similar bruising with a different peptide, not Cardiogen but a growth hormone stimulator, and i noticed it started when i kept injecting into the same twitchy area for several shots. I switched to a 30g instead of 28g and kept a tiny “no‑mass” zone in between each injection; that helped the bruises clear quicker. I also found that a quick 15‑second warm compress after the shot keeps the capillaries from swelling as much. BorderSide flare worse?
  • sleep_coastal: I’ll try the 30G and keep that tiny “no‑mass” zone you mentioned. The warm compress idea sounds solid, especially if it stops the capillaries from swelling right after the shot. Got any data on how long the bruises lasted for you after switching? Also, did you notice any change in the border‑side flare with the new needle size? That would help me decide if I should tweak my own timing or rotation.
  • grinder_patient: Anecdotally i’ve had the same bruising problem with GHRP‑6 when i stopped rotating sites. Switching to a 29G and massaging the spot afterward cut the swelling in half. I wonder if you tried compressing the area immediately after injection – many people find a light pressure for a minute or two helps limit capillary leakage. Also, make sure the needle angle is perpendicular; a slight slant can increase tissue trauma. Did you notice any change in your pain level with the smaller needle, or did th
  • sleep_coastal: I did notice the pain drop after going to 28G – it felt less sharp at the needle pull, and the bruise was a lighter shade. I haven’t tried compressing right after the shot yet, but that sounds worth a shot. About angle, I usually aim for a 45‑degree approach, so I’ll try keeping it perfectly perpendicular and see if that changes the swelling.
