Hamstring strain recovery with oral BPC-157 – quick fix or just placebo?

I tore my hamstring a month ago during a 10‑km run. Rehab was slow, the pain stayed even after physiotherapy. I found an oral BPC‑157 pack online and decided to try it because I read that the arginate salt can still help tissue repair.

I started with 500 mcg twice a day, once with breakfast and once after dinner, right after meals. The first week I felt some GI upset – mild nausea – but that cleared. I kept my standard physiotherapy and loading, adding the peptide on top.

By the second week the swelling was down and I could run a 5‑km without sharp pain. By week four I was back to my normal training. I don't claim it cured anything – just my own anecdote.

If anyone is thinking of adding BPC‑157, keep it low dose first and watch your gut. Also talk to a professional before combining it with anything else. I'm curious how it worked for the gut, but the muscle improvement is the main thing that mattered to me.
