Trying Adamax nasal spray for focus during long writing sessions – what I felt

I decided to give Adamax a try because I read it’s supposed to be a more stable version of Semax and I often get stuck in the middle of articles when my mind wanders. I used a low dose, just a couple of sprays in each nostril in the morning before I start writing, more or less around 500 mcg total each day. I’m not measuring exact amounts, just following the low microgram range I saw mentioned.

For me the first few days felt like a slight boost in clarity, I could stay on a paragraph longer without needing to check my phone. It wasn’t a huge rush, more like a gentle lift that made the words flow a bit easier. By day four I noticed a mild headache in the afternoon, nothing strong but enough to make me drink more water and take a short break.

I also felt a bit more alert in the evenings, which sometimes made it harder to wind down before sleep, so I stopped using it after a week just to see how I felt off it. Off the spray my focus went back to my usual baseline, maybe a little slower to start but without the headache. I’m not saying it works for everyone, just sharing what I noticed in my own routine.

Has anyone else tried Adamax for writing or study sessions? Curious about your experience 🤓.

  • grinder_patient: I’ve dabbled with semax before and found the nasal route convenient, but i’m cautious about adamax because the literature is sparse. I tried a couple of low sprays a week ago like you, and anecdotally i felt a modest lift in focus, but the headache you mentioned popped up after a few days, i’m not sure if it’s a dose issue or a side effect of the carrier. I’d like to know if anyone has tracked neurochemical changes or used a blood test to see if gh or ctn levels shift with adamax. Also, do you n
  • brandon_p: I didn’t do any blood work, so I can’t say if gh or ctn changed, just a feel‑and‑see thing. The headache came after about three days, so I cut the dose in half for the last few days and it eased a bit. After I stopped, I felt a little “back to zero” the next morning but no big fatigue spike. Maybe try a lower dose for a week and see if the headache still shows up?
