Oral BPC-157 for Achilles tendon soreness dosing and timing?

I’ve been dealing with a low-grade Achilles tweak from my last 50k, mostly sore after long runs and a bit stiff in the morning. I decided to try oral BPC-157 (arginate salt) at 500 mcg twice a day with meals, just to see if it helps the tendon feel better while I keep doing my usual rehab work, eccentric calf drops, foam rolling, and short easy runs. After about ten days I noticed the soreness seemed to drop a bit during runs and I wasn’t as sore the next morning, but it’s hard to tell if that’s real or just placebo because I also cut back on hill work at the same time.
Has anyone else used the oral form for a tendon issue? What dose timing around your rehab sessions worked best for you? I’m curious if taking it closer to the workout vs.
With meals makes a difference, or if splitting the dose matters. Thanks.
