Hamstring strain recovery – timing and dosing question for oral BPC-157

I pulled my hamstring during a 10k in Cape Town last month. Took 3 days of rest, then started rehab sessions. Last year I used oral BPC-157 (around 500 mcg a day) after a similar pull and felt the soreness drop faster, but I wasn’t sure how long to keep it after the injury.
For me, taking the peptide 8–12 hours after the first rehab session seemed to let the muscle recover without feeling bloated or nauseous. I also noticed an increase in my range of motion after the second week. Tbh it helped me get back to my normal sprint speed earlier.
For this new injury, I’m thinking of starting the peptide a couple of days post-injury, then continuing it for 4 weeks. How long does anyone else wait before injecting or taking oral BPC-157 after a strain? What dosing schedule has worked best for you when you’re also doing functional rehab? Any advice on timing around the first 48 hours or if you see a plateau?
