Prehab and peptides for joint resilience

This NIH paper talks about using therapeutic peptides in orthopaedics. It suggests using them for prehabilitation to get tissues and joints ready before a surgery.
Tbh this makes a lot of sense. I have always looked at these things for when I am already broken, but using them to build resilience BEFORE an injury is a different angle. It seems lekke to actually prepare the joint instead of just reacting to a tear. My own experience with BPC has been more about fixing things, but I wonder if the results would be BETTER if the tissue was already optimized.
Does anyone here actually use a protocol for prehab or prevention? I am curious if people are running low doses during their off season just to keep everything tight, or if that is just wasting product.
