I just finished a 10‑day course of Cortexin for a mild cognitive boost after a light head injury, and the injection sites started to itch and swell around day three. I wasn’t sure if that was normal or a sign of something worse, so I’m looking for a practical checklist of what to watch for and how to manage it. I’m a seasoned athlete, so I know how to keep an eye on inflammation, but I’m also worried about allergic reactions because the product is animal‑derived.

Have others seen immediate rash, tightening of the skin, or even a systemic response like fever? loha, and any lab markers that could flag an issue early?
