Time to start BPC-157 after ACL cuarta?

I just finished my ACL reconstruct and have been on a strict rehab program. I started thinking about BPC‑157 because of the buzz that it helps tendon healing. Around 10 days post‑op Doris in the forum told me she did a 2‑week run‑in at 250 µg twice a day, injecting periligamentally, and noted no flare‑ups. I decided to follow a similar protocol.
I reconstituted my vial with PBS as the community said and kept the mix in the fridge. I began the injections at 10 days after surgery, when the graft was moving but still protected by braces. I stuck to 250 µg per injection, 1‑2 times a day, in the area just beneath the incision. After about a week I felt less stiffness, especially in the first half‑hour after my later exercise.
The key for me was timing: not too soon, not too late. I still monitor my recovery with physiotherapy, but I’m curious – did anyone else start early or wait longer? What worked best for you?

- greg208: Not gonna lie I’ve seen folks start BPC‑157 pretty early after ACL work, even as soon as day 5 but they usually keep it low dose and spread it over a few weeks. I did a 4‑ਸਟੇਪ run‑in with 100 µg twice a day and only noticed a mild buzz of warmth the first 48 h, no flare‑ups. My own knee still feels tight in the first hour after hitting the treadmill, but participate in physiotherapy and it doesn’t worsen. If you’re pushing 250 µg, maybe taper after two weeks to see if it keeps the stiffness down
- runner_aaron: Sure, thanks tbh. I’ve gone 250 µg and noticed a drop in stiffness, but the warmth you mentioned at 48 h sounds like a typical tissue response. I’ll try tapering to 100 µg after the first two weeks and keep the braces on Walmart in that early phase. How did the treadmill feel after you cut back? Did any rehab milestones shift?
