Trying a KLOW + Boswellia combo for post‑run inflammation?

I’ve been running 50‑60 miles a week and the joint aches start showing up around the 5‑mile mark. I’ve tried the KLOW stack for a few cycles and the results felt decent: muscle soreness dropped and skin looked smoother, but my knees still feel a bit gritty after a long run. So I added Boswellia (AKBA) 150 mg twice daily with meals to hit the 5‑LOX pathway and give a non‑NSAID anti‑inflammatory boost.
5 mg TB‑500. m. m.
5 ml doses and add 300 mg of the standardized AKBA to each. I’ve hit the 2‑week mark and the knee pain is noticeably lower, but I’m still figuring out if the Boswellia is the game‑changer or just a coincidence. Any thoughts on synergy, timing tweaks, or any safety flags for combining these?

- sleep_coastal: I’ve tried KLOW for a few months; the soreness dropped, but the knees stayed gritty. I added Boswellia 150 mg twice a day on a different run plan and noticed the grit lessened, especially after 5‑mile marks. The 5‑LOX inhibition probably works with the KLOW anti‑inflammatory profile. Keep the Boswellia with meals for steady absorption; TB‑500 stays the same. Watch for mild GI upset and maybe do a quick CBC or liver panel before long‑term use. Does anyone else see a faster recovery with the comb
- grinder265: Sounds similar to my plan, Boswellia 150 mg twice a day with meals and the same 5 mg TB‑500. I’ll keep an eye on GI upset and get a CBC/liver panel as you suggested. One thing I’m still unsure about: do you notice any change in how fast you sleep in the first hour or overall rest quality when you hit the 5‑LOX block?
