How long should I keep taking oral BPC‑157 after my Achilles repair?

I had an Achilles tendinopathy that finally needed arthroscopic repair in June, and I started oral BPC‑157 right after surgery at 500 mcg twice a day because the page says that's the typical dose. My rehab is going pretty steady, but I noticed that after about 4 weeks the pain level hasn't dropped as much as I hoped, and the swelling still lingers. I’m wondering whether I should keep the_translation?

I’ve seen people say to keep the peptide until the tendon is fully back to normal, but I’m not sure how long that really is. For me the recovery çeşitti has plateaued at week 6, and I’ve got a decent range of motion, but the tendon still feels a bit taut when I load it too hard. Would it make sense to continue the 500 mcg BID for another month or two, or should I taper down?

Also, any idea about timing for starting normal weight‑bearing? Just my own experience and a bit of curiosity.
