Bleeding risk with Serrapeptase plus aspirin: personal query

After my arthroscopic knee repair last year I started taking Serrapeptase 120,000 SPU daily on an empty stomach because I read it helped with post‑surgical inflammation and swelling, and I was on low‑dose aspirin for platelet inhibition. Amigos in the forum mentioned a potential bleeding risk but I never tested it seriously until I noticed that the incision site bled a bit longer after each dressing change and I developed a bruise that took more than a week to fade, which was unusual compared to previous surgeries. I also got a mild rash on my forearms after a few weeks of Serrapeptase, and sometimes a mild nausea if I took it with food.

My question is: how critical is the bleeding risk really when using Serrapeptase with aspirin or other antiplatelet agents? Should I check coagulation panels like PT/INR or aPTT before starting, and is there a safe duration for the combination? I’m curious girls, lads, and folks who’ve tried this combo, what did you observe, and did you monitor any bloodwork to stay safe?

I’d comply with a quick PT/INR check before starting, and keep an eye on any bruising or unexpected bleeding. In my own case, I only had a mild rash and a little tummy upset – nothing dramatic. Have any of you noticed real bleeding changes? Did you do any blood work or just monitor the wound?
