BPC‑157 Oral + Inject for Achilles Sprain: Timing & Dosing Query

Posted by grinder265 in Healing & Recovery - 1 points, 0 comments.

I sprained my Achilles two weeks ago during a 50‑mile trail run. I’ve been doing PT stretches and light cross‑training, but pain still lingers around the calcaneal insertion. I’ve started a BPC‑157 regimen – oral 500 µg twice daily (morning and night) and a 250 µg injection before bed. I chose 250 µg inject because the protocol I saw said that lower dose reduces site irritation while still giving tissue exposure.

After the first injection the spot was a bit tender for a day, but otherwise nothing. Overnight I felt a little “stiff” in the ankle, so I wonder if I should shift the injection to after my nightly stretch instead of before bed. Also, I’m using a 5‑minute foam roll and 10‑minute dynamic stretch before PT. Would it help to inject right after the PT session when the muscle is warm, or is?

I’m curious if anyone else has paired oral and inject on a sprain, and what timing seemed to work best for tissue healing and recovery. Any anecdotal tips or tweaks?
