Looking for advice on BPC‑157 oral for Achilles tendon tear recovery

Posted by grinder265 in Healing & Recovery - 2 points, 1 comments.

I tore my left Achilles last month during a 50‑mile run and have been grinding through a slow rehab. I’ve been using Diclofenac topical 1% gel a few times a day for the inflammation, which helps with pain but still feels like a gap when I try to load it in the gym. I read a lot about BPC‑157 oral as a convenient alternative to injections, and I’m thinking about adding 500 mcg twice a day to see if it gives me a better tendon bounce back. I know the oral form is gentler on the gut and the half‑life is around four hours, so I’m guessing the steady dosing might keep the tissue environment stable.

My question is: does adding BPC‑157 oral to a diclofenac topical regimen make sense? Any of you been on that combo, and did you notice faster tendon stiffness reduction or more solid end‑of‑day performance? What timing do you think would be best – before or after training – to mimic the natural healing cycle? Any tips on managing potential GI upset early on?

  • sleep_coastal: I’ve taken oral BPC‑157 for a hamstring strain while using a diclofenac cream on the same limb. Anecdotally it felt smoother at the end of theatomic training day, so I usually take it after my workout, about 30 Prod the next meal. The cream keeps the inflammation at bay and the peptide doesn’t seem to interfere. GI upset was mild on day one, so I split the dose into two 250 mcg parts with a snack each time. Do you see any quicker stiffness relief or would you wait until the tide of inflammation
