Trying a GHK‑Cu serum – any tips on dosing and irritation?

Hey folks, I’m pretty new to the peptide side of longevity and I’ve been reading about GHK‑Cu as a skin‑and‑hair booster. A few articles mentioned a 1‑3 mg topical dose and I managed to get a 2 % serum (the kind that says “apply twice daily”) from a reputable source. I started applying it in the evenings after my normal moisturizer and, honestly, after about a week I noticed a slight tightening around my jawline and my beard seemed a bit fuller, but I’m also getting a mild tingling that turns into a light redness on the cheek where I use the most.
I’ve heard some people get a green‑blue tint if they over‑apply – I’m definitely not seeing that yet. Has anyone found a way to reduce the irritation (maybe layering with a barrier cream?) or have you tried a lower concentration first?
I’m curious if the effect is just placebo or if I’m actually seeing some collagen boost, and I’d love to hear any dosing tweaks or skin‑care combos you’ve used. Thanks!
