Quercetin GI upset at 1000mg – anyone else felt this?

Howzit folks. I’ve been trying quercetin 500mg twice a day with my morning coffee for the past week, mainly for the antioxidant and anti‑inflammatory hype. Around day three I started noticing a bit of low‑grade stomach discomfort – not full on nausea, just a sore‑ish feeling that lingered a couple of hours after each dose.

I also got a mild headache once or twice, nothing that knocked me out but enough to make me wonder if it’s related. I’ve read that GI upset can happen at higher doses, but I’m already at the top of the usual range. Has anyone else felt similar with quercetin?

Did splitting the dose, taking it with food, or dropping to 250mg twice daily help? I’m thinking of trying a lower dose for a few days and seeing if the gut settles, but I’d love to hear what worked for you before I tweak anything. Thanks.
