BPC-157 oral for lingering Achilles tendon ache – any dosing tips?

Posted by grinder265 in Healing & Recovery - 1 points, 0 comments.

Hey folks, I’ve been dealing with a low‑grade Achilles tendon soreness that flares up after my long weekend runs. I’ve tried the usual stretching, ice, and a bit of eccentric loading but it’s still naggy after a few weeks. I’ve got some oral BPC-157 (arginate salt) on hand and was thinking of giving it a shot to see if it helps with the tendon healing.

Ngl I’m a bit unsure about the best timing – should I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or split doses pre‑ and post‑run? The knowledge base says 500‑1000 mcg once or twice daily for systemic effects, but I wonder if hitting it closer to the workout might target the tendon better. Anyone tried oral BPC-157 for tendon issues and noticed a difference in recovery time or pain levels?

Also, any side effects to watch out for besides the mild nausea mentioned? Would love to hear your experiences or any protocol tweaks you’ve found useful. Thanks!
