Injection site soreness after Follistatin 344 – any tips to reduce it?

Hey folks, I’ve been running a short 15‑day cycle of Follistatin 344 at 100 mcg subQ each morning, mostly to see if it helps with my shoulder recovery after heavy lifting days. About day five I started noticing a dull ache and a little redness at the injection spot that lingered for a day or two. I’ve been using the same spot in my lower abdomen each time, rotating only a few centimeters over.

The discomfort isn’t bad enough to stop me, but it’s annoying and makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong with the technique or needle size. I’m using a 29 gauge insulin syringe, injecting slowly, and I always clean the area with alcohol first. Has anyone else hit this kind of soreness with Follistatin or similar peptides?

Would switching to a smaller needle, injecting more superficially, or changing to a different site like the thigh help? Any advice on minimizing injection site irritation would be great. Thanks!
