Mild tingling from SNAP-25 fragment peptide – anyone else?

I tried the SNAP-25 fragment peptide as a topical serum for my forehead lines, applying it twice a day like the label says. For the first few days I felt a light tingling sensation right after it dried, kind of like a tiny static shock that faded after a minute or two. I started rating the feeling on a simple 0-10 scale each morning and noticed it usually stayed around a 2 or 3, never painful but definitely there.

After about a week the tingling lessened a bit and I also felt a slight tightness in the skin, almost like a light film, which went away after I washed my face at night. I kept taking my usual HRV and sleep readings and didn’t see any changes there, so it seemed limited to the application site. I’m wondering if others have felt similar tingling or tightness with this peptide, and if you found that cutting back to once daily or using a thinner layer helped reduce it without losing the smoothing effect. Just my own experience, would love to hear what you’ve noticed.

  • quiet_ironman: I tried a similar SNAP‑25 fragment cream on my crow’s feet a few months back and got that same light tingling right after it dried, usually a 2 on my own 0‑10 scale. It faded after a minute and after about five days the sensation dropped to barely noticeable. I didn’t see any change in my HRV or sleep, so it felt like a local skin reaction. Cutting back to once a day and using a thinner layer kept the tingling almost gone while I still noticed a subtle smoothing effect over weeks. Has anyone el
