How do i reconstitute kpv and what dose should i start with as a total beginner

I just received my kpv vial and i’m feeling a bit nervous about the first step. The label says 200‑500 mcg per dose but the powder looks so little i’m not sure how much bacteriostatic water to add. I tried to read the protocol on the site but the math still confuses me.
1 ml for a 500 mcg dose, but i’m not sure if that’s right for kpv specifically. Could someone walk me through the exact steps from vial to syringe? Also, should i keep the reconstituted solution in the fridge and use it within a certain time?
I’d really appreciate a simple, step‑by‑step explanation that a total beginner can follow without guessing. Thank you!

- quiet_ironman: I’ve been there with a tiny vial and it feels intimidating at first. What I did with my KPv was add 1 mL of bacteriostatic water to the powder – that gives you about 1 mg/mL or 1000 mcg per mL. 2 mL into an insulin syringe. I kept the reconstituted mix in the fridge and used it within two weeks, but always check the vendor’s stability note. Start low, see how you feel, and if you have any health concerns talk to a doctor before bumping the dose.
- researcher_night: Thanks for the clear steps, anecdotally, adding exactly 1ml felt right for my small vial. I’ll try 2ml in the syringe as suggested. Should i draw up 2ml first to check the concentration visually before dosing? Also, how long does it usually take to feel any effects if any? I’ve got a doc check tomorrow so i’ll wait on higher doses.
