BPC-157 oral for lingering Achilles strain – timing with physio?

Hey folks, I’ve been dealing with a nagging Achilles tendon ache after my last 50 miler. It’s not torn, just that dull stiffness that flares up during hill repeats and lingers for days after. I’ve tried the usual – ice, compression, eccentric loading – but progress feels slow. I’ve got a bottle of oral BPC-157 (arginate salt) sitting around and I’m wondering how to slot it in with my physio schedule.
For me, I’ve noticed that taking 500 mcg first thing in the morning on an empty stomach seems to reduce morning stiffness, but I’m not sure if that’s just placebo or if it actually helps the tissue remodel when I’m doing my rehab later in the day. Should I dose pre‑physio, post‑physio, or split it? Anyone tried stacking it with something like GHK‑Cu topical for tendon collagen synthesis?
Also, any thoughts on how long to run it before expecting a noticeable change in load tolerance? I’m aiming to get back to longer runs without that tightness pulling me back. Ngl, I’m a bit cautious about overdoing it since I’ve heard mixed things about oral bioavailability. Would love to hear what’s worked for you guys, especially if you’ve tracked any pain scores or ultrasound changes. Thanks!
