TriMix injection bruising – any tips to reduce soreness and hematoma?

I’ve been using TriMix for a while now because the oral meds weren’t cutting it for me and I’ve noticed that after a few injections I get quite a bit of bruising around the site, sometimes a small hematoma that lingers for a couple of days. It’s not painful exactly but the discoloration looks nasty and I’m worried about doing long term damage if I keep hitting the same spot. I’ve tried rotating between the left and right side but I’m not sure if I’m spacing them out enough or if the angle of the needle makes a difference.

Does anyone here have a routine that works for them – like icing right after the shot, using a smaller gauge needle, or maybe pressing a clean gauze pad for a minute to stop the bleeding before it spreads? I’m also curious if anyone has checked their bloodwork after regular use and seen any changes in platelets or clotting factors that could explain why I’m bruising more easily. Just looking for practical tips to keep the sides steady while still getting the benefit, any advice would be appreciated.
