Trying 5-Amino-1MQ with my semaglutide – weight and waist changes

5mg weekly for about eight weeks and noticed my appetite dropped steadily, but weight loss slowed after the first month. Curious about the NNMT angle, I added 5-Amino-1MQ 75mg twice daily with meals, keeping everything else the same. I didn’t expect it to curb hunger since the description says it works on cellular energy, not appetite, and that matched what I felt – my cravings and fullness signals stayed the same as on semaglutide alone.

Over the next four weeks I tracked morning weight and a weekly waist measurement. 8 pounds I’d averaged before adding it. My waist went down about half an inch, though that could be noise from water shifts.

I also logged my HRV and sleep; no obvious change there, and I didn’t get any stomach upset or headaches. It’s just one person’s experience, but the extra loss lines up with the idea of increased fat cell metabolism without touching appetite. I’ll keep logging and see if the trend holds.
