Berberine added to my semaglutide routine – appetite and glucose notes

I’ve been on 0.5 mg semaglutide weekly for about eight weeks and noticed my fasting glucose creeping back up into the high 90s after meals. I read that berberine activates AMPK and can help with insulin sensitivity, so I decided to try 500 mg with breakfast and dinner for two weeks. I kept my semaglutide dose the same and didn’t change anything else in my diet or training.

Subjectively, I felt a bit less bloated after dinner and my post‑meal glucose readings dropped into the low 80s on most days. My appetite didn’t change noticeably – semaglutide still keeps hunger low – but I did notice fewer cravings for carbs in the evening. Sleep and HRV stayed roughly the same; no obvious GI upset beyond a mild rumble after the first dose, which settled by day three.

I’m planning to keep berberine at this dose for another month and check labs. Curious if anyone else has stacked it with a GLP‑1 agonist and what your numbers looked like.
