MK-677 at night – does it really deepen sleep or just make you hungrier?

I’ve been experimenting with MK-677 for about a month now, taking 20mg right before bed each night. Ngl I expected the usual sleep‑depth boost that gets talked about a lot, but my own feeling is pretty flat. I did notice the classic hunger spike – waking up ravenous and a bit of water retention in the mornings – but my sleep tracker didn’t show any clear change in deep sleep percentage or REM length compared to the baseline weeks before I started.
Could just be placebo or my night‑shift schedule messing with the signal, but I’m curious if anyone else has actually measured sleep quality with a wearable or app while on MK-677 and seen a real difference. I’ve read the typical claims about improved sleep depth, but I haven’t seen a solid study that isolates the sleep effect from the appetite and water‑retention sides. If you’ve got data or a link to a paper that shows a measurable sleep improvement, please share – otherwise I’m leaning toward the idea that the sleep benefit is more anecdotal than proven for most of us.
