Trying oral Dihexa for focus – first week notes and questions

Hey folks, I decided to give oral Dihexa a go after reading about its synaptogenesis claims. I started with 10 mg every morning on an empty stomach, just to see how my body reacts. Day one felt pretty normal, maybe a tad more alert during my morning writing session but nothing dramatic.

By day three I noticed I could stay on task a bit longer when editing articles, less of the usual mid‑morning fog. However, on day five I had a mild headache in the afternoon and found it harder to wind down at night, so I skipped the dose that evening. Day six I went back to 10 mg and the headache didn’t return, but I felt a little jittery after my coffee.

I’m wondering if anyone else has tried a similar low dose and noticed overstimulation or sleep changes? Also, should I consider taking it every other day instead of daily to see if the effects smooth out? Would love to hear your logs or any tips on stacking it with something mild like Selank for anxiety balance.

Dihexa is a bit of a wild card and the evidence for it in humans is pretty thin compared to the animal data. For me, whenever I tried something similar, the sleep disruption was the first thing to hit. I would be careful about stacking it with Selank until you know if the jitters are from the compound or just your caffeine intake. If I were you, I would try the every other day approach to see if the headaches
