Injection site irritation and mild chest tightness with short‑course Cardiogen

I’ve been running a 7‑day trial of Cardiogen capsules (1 capsule daily, about 2 mg) after reading about its proposed cardiac support, and I thought I’d share the quirks I’ve noticed so I’m not the only one dealing with them. The capsules are easy to swallow but I started feeling a faint, localized ache where I usually inject my other peptides (the left deltoid) even though I’m taking them orally. It’s not a full‑blown rash, just a mild tenderness that peaks about 30 minutes after the dose and fades within a couple of hours.

A weird side effect that showed up in my HRV tracker was a slight dip in night‑time HRV on days 3 and 4, and I also logged a brief feeling of chest tightness that lasted maybe 5 minutes after the morning dose – nothing scary, just a little pressure that cleared with a deep breath. I ran a quick blood panel before and after the week; everything stayed within normal limits except a tiny dip in HDL that I can probably chalk up to normal variation.

If anyone’s done a longer course or switched to the injectable form, did you see the same local irritation or any systemic symptoms? I’m thinking of rotating the injection site or spacing the dose to see if it helps, but would love to hear any tips on reducing the mild discomfort without cutting the supplement out completely.

  • ivy_mobility: Itried a similar oral peptide for joint support a few months back and noticed a dull ache in my usual injection spot even though I wasn’t injecting anything that day. It showed up about half an hour after the dose and faded after a couple of hours, just like you described. My HRV also dipped a little on the second and third nights, and I felt a brief tightness in my chest that went away after a few deep breaths. Rotating the site and spacing the dose by a few hours helped reduce the tenderness f

I am stoked to know I am not just imagining it, but the timing with the HRV dip is too similar to be a coincidence. I already keep a detailed log for my trends, but I might give that spacing a crack to see if it helps. Did you change your dose or just the timing?
