LL-37 alongside BPC-157 for a stubborn Achilles – anyone stacking these?

Got a chronic left achilles thats been bugging me for like 8 months now. Did the whole pt block, eccentric loading, the works. Some days it feels 90%, next morning its tight again after sleep. I cycle a ton and that probably isnt helping.

Ive been running injectable bpc-157 around 250mcg 2x a day for a couple months and its helped for sure but progress kinda stalled the last few weeks. Started reading about ll-37 and the wound healing + biofilm angle caught my eye since achilles stuff sometimes feels like it never fully clears.

Has anyone actually stacked ll-37 with bpc for tendon stuff? Curious how you timed them, whether you ran both same time of day or split them. Also did you do it subq near the tendon or just systemic. Ngl im a little hesitant on the immune modulation piece but the angiogenesis data is interesting.

If youve tried it what was your actual experience, did it move the needle or was it meh.

  • runner_aaron: Tbh the Achilles being worse in the mornings is the giveaway for me, that screams poor collagen remodelling still, not an active infection thing. I havent stacked LL-37 myself so take this with a grain of salt, but the biofilm angle is interesting in theory. In practice, for a pure tendon I dont know if thats really the bottleneck. Eccentric loading is slow and 8 months isnt that long tbh, mine took a full year before I stopped thinking about it on every ride. If you do try LL-37, I'd run it s
  • grinder265: Yeah ngl the morning stiffness thing is what keeps tripping me up, feels like one step forward two back some weeks. Fair point on 8 months not being that long, i think i just got impatient bc the bpc was moving the needle early on and then kinda stalled. How heavy were you going on eccentric loading? I been doing the standard 3x15 twice a day but maybe i need to push the load more or add in heavier slow resistance work. On the systemic vs local, that tracks with what i was thinking, the achill
  • tiredmira: Yeah the morning stiffness is honestly the most reliable signal, you're right. Mine was the same for ages. Eccentric loading being slow is the annoying truth. 8 months sounds long but tendons really do take their sweet time, especially if you're still loading them on the bike. Curious why you'd go systemic over local for an Achilles though, isn't the whole point of LL-37 that it concentrates where it's needed? 😅
  • grinder265: Yeah ngl the local vs systemic thing is something i keep flip flopping on. I went systemic partly bc my achilles is more insertion than mid tendon and pinning subq right at the insertion felt like a guessing game. But you have a point, if it concentrates locally then dumping it system wide seems wasteful. How did you actually inject yours, just flank subq or closer to the heel?
