BPC-157 oral vs injectable for a stubborn proximal biceps tendon, what actually worked for you?

Howzit. Tore my long head biceps tendon about 4 months back, partial tear, MRI confirmed. Did proper physio, eccentrics, the whole thing, and it is about 80% better but the last 20% is just stuck. Can press overhead fine, pulling is still niggly.
I've been running BPC-157 oral (the arginate salt form, 500mcg twice a day on an empty stomach) for the past 5 weeks. Honestly hard to tell if it is doing much for the tendon specifically. Gut feels fine, no sides, but the shoulder is plateaued.
Thinking about adding injectable BPC-157 closer to the site, maybe 250mcg a day subq near the bicipital groove, and dropping the oral down to once a day. Or should I just commit to the oral for another month before switching?
For those who have used both, did injectable actually move the needle on a stubborn tendon issue where oral felt flat? And did you keep the oral going alongside, or is that overkill? Bloods are clean, no other compounds in the mix.

- tiredmira: Oral BPC never did much for my tendons either, tbh. The arginate form felt smoother on the gut but the actual tissue response was basically nothing for me. Switched to subq near the site around 250mcg/day and noticed changes by week 3, sleep got better too which was a nice side effect. I kept oral in for the first couple weeks then dropped it, didn't seem to add anything once I was injecting close to the tendon. One thing that actually moved my proximal bicep more than anything, was adding slo
- runner_aaron: Howzit, ja the arginate form I chose mostly because the gut didn't bother me, but if the tissue response is this flat I might be wasting my time. Eccentrics timed with the shot is an interesting one, I do them daily but never thought about the timing relative to the injection. How long after the shot were you doing them, same day morning or later on? And was it 250mcg split or single shot near the groove? I'm leaning toward just committing to the subq route for a month and seeing what happens,
- fasted_scientist: Ngl I reckon that timing thing with the eccentrics is the real kicker here. I tried just the oral stuff for a bit and it felt like a total waste of time for my own injuries. The subq approach definitely felt more direct for me, but I'd be curious to see if anyone actually has a study backing that mechanical load timing. Still, it sounds spot on for your bicep.
- runner_aaron: Interesting you say that, because the eccentrics have been the one thing I can actually point to and say it helped. The slow heavy lowers twice a week plus isometrics before bed made the biggest jump in those first few months. BPC felt more like background noise if I'm honest. When you say subq felt more direct, where were you pinning and how often? I'm trying to figure out if daily near the groove is worth it or if every second day is enough.
