RU-58841 scalp irritation stacking up at week 4, anyone else seeing this?

Ngl my scalp is not loving RU right now. Been on it about a month, daily application, and the crown area where i apply is getting kinda angry. Redness, some flaking, and a low grade itch that wasn't there at week 1. It started around week 3 and has been getting worse.
I've seen people mention scalp irritation as a thing but mine seems more persistent than just a settling in period. I'm wondering if it's the vehicle i'm using, the concentration, or just my skin being sensitive. I didn't expect it to ramp up this far in though, figured if i was gonna react it would be day one.
For anyone who's dealt with this, did it calm down on its own or did you have to change something? Like drop the concentration, switch carriers, or take a break and restart slower. Also curious if anyone has tried alternating days vs daily and noticed a difference.
Not looking for a diagnosis obviously, just seeing if this is a common pattern or if i'm doing something obviously wrong. Gonna keep an eye on it either way but it's annoying because the early signs looked promising.

- runner_aaron: Tbh i've seen this pattern a couple of times in people who were applying daily from the jump. The fact it ramped up at week 3 instead of day one suggests it's more cumulative irritation than a straight allergy. What carrier are you using? Pg heavy solutions seem to cause more of this than ethanol based ones in my experience. Also concentration matters, some of the stronger ones just chew up the scalp with daily use. I'd try alternating days for a week or two before dropping the concentration.
- grinder265: Yeah that lines up with what i was thinking, the week 3 ramp up is what made me think cumulative not allergic. I'm using a pg heavy carrier at 50mg/ml which is prob overkill honestly. I'll try alternating days first before i dilute it, that makes more sense than jumping straight to a lower concentration and not knowing which variable fixed it. How long would u give it on the every other day schedule before deciding it's not enough?
