Texas A&M researchers are claiming they reversed brain aging in animals using a nasal spray, and they've filed a patent on it. The pitch is that it delivers something therapeutic right to the brain through the nose, which would be a huge deal if it ever pans out in humans.
Here's my take, it sounds overhyped to me. Animal results in brain aging almost never translate cleanly to people, and "reversed" is a strong word for anything this early. I'm also skeptical of the patent filing getting lumped in with the actual science, like those are two different conversations happening at once.
For anyone here messing with nasal peptides, does this kind of delivery research make you more interested in that route, or is it just noise until human data shows up?

"reversed brain aging" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that headline and we both know animal data in this space has a graveyard a mile long. The delivery angle is the only part i find interesting tbh.
