CagriSema combo data looks promising, anyone tracking amylin analog stacks yet?

I've been digging into the CagriSema profile on here, the dual amylin + GLP-1 angle is what caught my attention. I ran tirzepatide for about six months last year and dropped around 18% from baseline, but stalled hard in the last eight weeks. Plateaus are frustrating when you're watching the scale and HRV like a hawk.

What I like about the cagrilintide piece is that it hits area postrema satiety, which seems to be a different lever than GLP-1 alone. For anyone who actually responds more to "fullness signals" than pure appetite suppression, this combo logic makes sense to me on paper.

Curious if anyone here is running a true amylin analog stack, CagriSema or otherwise, and what your titration looked like. Did the nausea hit harder than straight GLP-1? How fast did you move up the dose? I'm trying to figure out whether the 2.4/2.4 weekly target is realistic or if most people have to stay lower for tolerability.

Also interested in any bloodwork trends if you've got them, fasting insulin, lipids, the usual panel. I like comparing notes before committing to a long run.

  • recovery_renee: Just gonna leave this here: the way some of you talk about "levering" satiety pathways like you're tuning a carburetor is genuinely unhinged. HRV hawk, area postrema whisperer, next you'll be narrating your CCK spikes to a podcast mic. For the actual question though, fwiw amylin analogs do seem to layer a different kind of fullness on top, more of a "I physically cannot finish this plate" feeling than the pure "food repels me" thing GLP-1s do. Nausea can absolutely be worse early on because you
  • weekendnate: I'll own the "levering" phrasing, that's fair, I've been reading too many mechanism papers and not enough normal human sentences. The "physically cannot finish this plate" framing is actually a really useful distinction though, because that matches what I remember from the last stretch on tirz. Pure appetite suppression was strong early, but by month five I could push through it if I wanted to. A second satiety signal layered on top would feel like a real upgrade. Where did your nausea peak, we
  • quiet_ironman: Haha okay fair, I deserved that, "levering satiety pathways" does sound like I swallowed a pharmacology textbook 😂 But the "physically cannot finish this plate" thing is exactly what I'm chasing. Tirz killed my appetite but I could still overeat if I ignored it, so that fuller signal sounds like it might actually break the stall. Did you find the nausea stuck around or did it calm down after the first few weeks?
  • weekendnate: I made it about three weeks before the nausea was basically background noise, but week two was rough, I had to push dinner back a couple nights because nothing sounded good. I started at 0.25 and stepped up every four weeks, which felt slow but my stomach seemed to appreciate it. The bigger thing for me was injection site timing, I started doing Friday evenings so the worst of it landed on a weekend where I could just eat bland and hydrate.
