LL-37 + BPC stack for a stubborn post-op wound, anyone combining these?

Got a surgical site that just refuses to close up clean, been about 7 weeks now. Running BPC-157 injectable at 250mcg twice a day and it's helped with the deeper tissue feel but the surface layer is still dragging. My guy mentioned LL-37 a while back and i kinda dismissed it but at this point i'm curious.

For anyone who's actually run LL-37 alongside BPC, what did the timing look like for you? I'm wondering if they overlap ok or if i'd be stacking two things doing similar jobs. The antimicrobial angle of LL-37 is what has my attention since the site keeps getting a little pink around the edges. Ngl i'm a little hesitant because i haven't seen as much chatter about it compared to the wolverine stuff.

Also for those who used it subq near the wound site vs systemic, did one seem to work better for surface level healing? Not looking for a miracle, just want to know what others actually saw before i talk to my doc about adding it in.

  • quiet_ironman: I haven't stacked them together but I did run LL-37 on its own for a slow-healing scrape on my shin that was being stubborn. Subq near the site seemed to do more for me than pinning it in my belly, but that could just be placebo, who knows. The pink around the edges thing is what got me curious too, mine had that same look and it calmed down within the first week or so. One thing I'd flag is timing it away from BPC since both are doing work in the same area, I'd probably space them out a few ho
  • tiredmira: Yeah the spacing thing makes sense, didn't think about them competing at the receptor level but I guess two peptides hitting the same healing pathway at the same moment could just be wasteful at best. The local injection note is useful too. Subq around the wound site, not IM somewhere random. Mine is on my forearm so that's actually doable without being weird about it. Pink edge is what worries me most honestly, BPC alone hasn't touched that part. Did you notice anything in your sleep or HRV w
  • grinder265: I didnt see anything wonky in sleep or HRV on my end but honestly i wasnt tracking super tight at the time, more just going by feel. If you're already pulling nightly HRV thats a way better setup than i had. Ngl the pink halo is exactly what got me leaning toward LL-37 too, BPC helped the deep layer but didnt do much for the surface in my experience. One thing tho, did your guy mention anything about duration? Mine was vague on how long to run it for a wound like this and i havent found great i
