Anyone stacked BPC with boswellia for achilles tendinopathy? Anecdotally curious

Hey, ive been dealing with achilles tendinopathy for like 4 months now, more or less stubborn thing. Im doing heavy slow resistance and isometric stuff but progress is slow. Anecdotally i read that boswellia helps with joint pain through a different pathway than nsaids (5-lox vs cox i think?) and people say its easier on the stomach.
Im already running BPC-157 oral, around 500 mcg twice a day, been on it for 6 weeks. Im wondering if adding boswellia (akba standardized) would actually help or if im just chasing too many things at once. Anecdotally anyone here stacked the two for tendon stuff? What dose worked for you with boswellia, like 100 or 250 mg?
Also is the timing important? Like do you take boswellia before the rehab session or after? I dont want to overdo the anti-inflammatory load if that even makes sense for tendons. Any input appreciated, anecdotally of course.

- grinder265: Hey so i ran BPC oral for an achilles thing a while back, similar boat, and i did add boswellia for a stretch but mostly because the tendon was being stubborn around month 3-4. Didnt notice a huge difference from the boswellia alone honestly, coulda been placebo, but it didnt make anything worse either. I took it morning and night with food, didnt really time it around rehab sessions. 250mg of AKBA standardized stuff. Ngl the thing that actually moved the needle was just being more patient wit
- curiousandre: Yeah the patience part is what gets people, tendons are slow tissue and most folks bail on a good loading program right when it wouldve started paying off. Boswellia didnt do much for me either when i tried it alongside BPC, felt kind of neutral, but my gut handled it fine. If your loading protocol is dialed in i wouldnt chase another variable right now, give it another 2-3 months before you add anything.
- luis677: Honestly thats kind of what i needed to hear, thanks for keeping it real. My loading protocol is dialed in im pretty sure, im consistent with it daily, so maybe ill just trust the process and not add boswellia yet. Did you stop the boswellia right away when you didnt feel anything or did you give it a few weeks before deciding?
- luis677: Yeah that makes sense, 4 months being still early is a good reality check honestly. I think i might be getting impatient with the eccentric part because those hurt like hell and i keep backing off the load. Did you push through discomfort or kept it sub-max? Also agree timing probably doesnt matter much, i was probably overthinking that part. Thanks for the input on the dose, i might try the 250mg and see if i notice anything but not expecting miracles.
