The FDA just sent warning letters to 30 telehealth companies over how they're marketing compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Citations included the "sameness" issue, which basically means these places were calling their copycat stuff the same as the real brand drugs when it isn't.
I've been watching this space for a while and honestly this feels overdue. Every time I scroll social media I see another telehealth ad promising easy prescriptions at suspiciously low prices. The enforcement tempo sounds aggressive, which is good, but I keep wondering how many people were already on these compounds before the letters went out.
