Adamax vs semax, anyone actually notice a difference?

So i've been running semax intranasal on and off for a while now, mostly for the focus and that calm-but-alert feeling during long days at the bench. It works fine but the short window kind of bugs me, sometimes i'm dragging by hour 3.

I keep seeing people talk about adamax as basically semax's longer lasting cousin with more punch behind it. Before i even think about adding it to the rotation i wanted to ask y'all, has anyone here actually used both back to back and felt a real difference? Like is the focus cleaner, does the mood lift hold up, or is it just more of the same thing stretched out a bit longer 🤓

Also curious how folks are dosing it. The research ranges i see are all over the place and i'm not really trying to find out the hard way. What worked for you and how long did you stick with it before deciding it was a keeper?

  • coastal_chemist: I ran both for a couple weeks each, not blinded obviously so grain of salt, but adamax felt less sharp to me honestly, kinda smoother and more background mood than the laser focus I get from semax. The duration was the main win, I got a solid 5-6 hours before I noticed it fade instead of semax's 3ish. 🤷‍♂️ Started low on adamax, like a single spray per nostril, then bumped to two sprays once I knew I wasn't getting any weirdness, no headaches or anything like that. Stuck with it for about 3 we
  • early_mito: Honestly that's super helpful, the smoother/more background mood thing matches what i was kinda suspecting but wasn't sure anyone else felt. I love the laser focus from semax so maybe adamax isn't what i actually need for daily bench work, but a longer block option for grant writing days could make sense 🤓 Did you find the fade on adamax gradual or more of a cliff? That's been my main complaint with semax, like i'm fine then suddenly i'm not.
  • quiet_ironman: That tracks with what I've seen, the smoothness versus sharpness tradeoff seems to come up a lot with these peptides. Question for you though, did you notice the adamax mood lift affect your sleep at all? I ask because the coach schedule has me up at 5am and I always worry about anything that might throw off my next-day sleep even if it wears off by then.
  • early_mito: Honestly sleep was the first thing i looked at too since i have early shifts at the lab. On semax i never had an issue either way, but with adamax i made sure to dose before noon for the first week or so just to be safe. No trouble falling asleep, no weird dreams, nothing like that. My fitbit sleep score stayed about the same as my baseline. That 5am schedule is no joke though, i feel you. Are you already using semax or just looking at adamax cold?
