Researchers out of Barcelona just showed that Rhosin, a small molecule, can actually reverse ageing in blood stem cells in animal models. The idea is that older stem cells lose their ability to produce healthy blood and immune cells, and rhosin seems to flip that switch back on. It is early, mice level stuff, but the framing around "rejuvenation" rather than just "slowing decline" is what caught my eye.
Honestly this is the kind of paper I want to read twice before I get excited, since "reverses ageing" headlines tend to age poorly once you dig into the methods.
