CJC + GHRP-2 on an empty stomach at 3am, does that even matter or am I just ritualising?

Bit of a devils advocate question this. Everyone bangs on about gh pulse timing, fasted state, no carbs blabla, and i'm doing 100/100 cjc + ghrp-2 about half an hour before bed most nights, but i've also been doing a middle of the night dose on training days because i read somewhere that a second pulse before the big sleep window might stack.
Honestly i'm not sure it's doing anything more than my pre-bed dose. I've never actually had IGF-1 pulled while running both vs just one, and i'd rather not guess. Has anyone here actually compared single nightly dosing to a split protocol with bloods, or is it all just bro logic at this point?
Ngl the hunger from the ghrp-2 is the part that actually annoys me more than the timing worry. Been considering swapping to ipa just to lose that side, but i keep hearing the gh pulse is weaker so idk if it's a fair trade. Curious what others reckon.

- calm_runs: Ngl the split protocol thing has always felt like bro logic to me too, no idea if anyone actually has clean bloodwork comparing it. One pulse at night seems plenty for most people i've seen talk about it, the second dose might just be adding hunger and not much else. Could be placebo either way tbh. If the ghrp-2 hunger is bugging you, ipa is the move a lot of people make for that exact reason. Weaker pulse is a fair concern but if you actually tolerate ipa better and can stay consistent, that
- mom_kenji: Yeah the split thing has always struck me as basically ritual too. One solid pre-bed dose on an empty stomach has worked fine for me, no bloodwork to back it up but sleep quality and recovery have been consistent without the 3am wakeup. And good call on the ghrp hunger, thats the part that would drive me up the wall more than anything. Does ipa actually give you a noticeable difference in pulse strength or is it more about just being able to stay on it longer?
- tiredmira: Yeah the hunger from ghrp-2 was kinda the worst part for me too, i switched to ipa for that exact reason. My morning fasting glucose numbers were kinda jumpy on ghrp-2 nights and leveled out after, could be coincidence tho. Never actually pulled bloods on split vs single so i cant speak to that part 😅
