PPS for cranky knees, anyone running a course alongside BPC/TB-500?

Got a bone marrow edema finding on MRI in my left medial femoral condyle, been dealing with this on and off for like 8 months now. Training volume has been brutal and my knees are not happy. Reading up on pentosan polysyslfate and the cartilage/protoglycan angle plus the subchondral bone stuff seems to line up with whats actually going on in there.

Before i ask my ortho about it, wanted to see if anyone here has stacked PPS with BPC-157 and TB-500 during a loading phase. Like did you run it weekly SC and keep the other two going daily, or did you cycle one off while the other loaded. Curious how people are timing the anti-coagulant risk against injection site bruising when theyre already pinning TB.

Also for anyone who did the 4-6 week SC course, when did you actually feel the joint change, was it gradual or more like a week 3-4 thing. Ngl im trying to set expectations before i commit.

  • tiredmira: Bone marrow edema is no joke, so good on you for getting the MRI before just pushing through. I can't speak to stacking PPS with BPC/TB specifically, but the cartilage + subchondral angle is what caught my eye too when I looked into it. For setting expectations, I'd guess it's more of a week 3-4+ thing based on the mechanism. It's not a fast painkiller, it's supposed to be working on the actual tissue environment, so gradual makes more sense than a sudden flip. Definitely run the anticoagulant
  • grinder265: The week 3-4 gradual take makes sense, ngl that was kind of my read on it too given the protoglycan replenishment mechanism. Just wanted some anecdotal confirmation before i got my hopes up. The ortho convo is already on the books, was more trying to figure out if people had a protocol preference for the stacking logistics before i walk in with a plan instead of just questions. Did you end up running PPS solo or just looking at it for something else.
  • grinder265: The week 3-4 timeline makes sense yeah, the proteoglycan replenishment stuff is slow turnover. Appreciate the heads up on the anticoagulant risk too, def gonna bring that up. One thing I was wondering though, did you come across any protocols where people front-loaded PPS and then brought BPC/TB in after, or is everyone just running them concurrently the whole time?
