KLOW vs GLOW for someone finishing a Wolverine cycle, how do you decide?

Hey all, running a Wolverine stack right now for a grumpy patellar tendon that just would not settle. It's been going ok, I can finally squat without that angry feeling behind the kneecap, so the BPC + TB combo is doing its thing.

Now I'm thinking about what comes after. I've got about 3 weeks left on this run and I want to keep the healing momentum going but also work on skin and general recovery since training volume is going up again in February.

So the question is basically KLOW vs GLOW. GLOW is just GHK-Cu added to what I'm already on, which feels like the easy step. KLOW throws KPV into the mix as well for the inflammation angle, which sounds appealing because my knee still gets a bit puffy after hard sessions.

Has anyone here actually stepped from Wolverine straight into one of these? Genuinely curious if the KPV piece is worth the extra complexity or if I'm overthinking it. And timing wise, do you overlap them or take a break in between?

Howzit from a very tired teacher who has been standing in a classroom all day with a sore leg, lol.

  • tiredmira: Curious what you're noticing in the tendon itself after the run, like any objective markers or just the squat feel? I've been tracking knee girth after sessions and it helps me separate real progress from "I think it feels better today" πŸ˜… On the KLOW vs GLOW question, basically I went straight from BPC/TB into GHK-Cu without a break, but skipped KPV. My reasoning was that the knee was no longer flaring hard so I didn't want to add a new variable. Skin and recovery were my main goals after. KP
  • runner_aaron: Honestly it's mostly the squat feel tbh, plus I can finally sit cross legged at work without that dull ache behind the kneecap. No proper girth tracking, just how the knee looks at night vs morning. Your point about not adding a new variable when the flare has calmed down makes sense to me, that was kind of my instinct as well. My knee isn't flaring hard anymore, it's more like a bit puffy the next morning after a heavy day. So based on what you're saying, sounds like GLOW alone might be the cl
  • quiet_ironman: Yeah knee girth is a smart call, I've been slacking on that and just going by feel which is probably half placebo honestly πŸ˜… Skipping KPV because the knee calmed down makes sense to me too, why mess with what's working. I keep going back and forth on whether the KPV piece is actually doing anything for inflammation or if it's just another thing in the syringe. Have you tried it solo at all?
  • runner_aaron: Tbh no, only ever used KPV inside the KLOW, never solo. That's partly why I'm hesitant to add it, I don't really know what it does on its own so hard to tell if it's earning its spot. Knee girth measurement is something I started doing because the physio pushed me on it, helps more than I expected. Are you tracking anything objective for your knee or is it really just feel at this stage?
