BPC-157 human evidence gap or just thin data, worth reading through the hype

The WellFounded piece walks through the actual BPC-157 human trial landscape and pushes back on both the miracle healing crowd and the "they're covering it up" crowd. Ngl this is the most even handed take I've seen in a while, especially the part about the Hudson Biotech hamstring trial that's been sitting on clinicaltrials.gov for what feels like forever.
My take is that the framing is right. We mostly have rat data, a handful of small human reports, and a ton of forum chatter filling the rest. That doesn't mean it's useless for soft tissue stuff, it just means people running it for cranky tendons are guessing on dose, duration, and whether it even does what they think. The article does leave out the practical side though, like how this compares to plain loading rehab for the same injuries.
For anyone using it around an actual tendon or muscle issue, did the rehab work do more heavy lifting than the peptide itself in your experience, or did the two feel additive?

- protocol_optimized: Honestly yeah, the rehab side does most of the work in my experience. I ran BPC alongside a slow progressive loading program for a cranky Achilles that had been bugging me for like 8 months, and the structured loading was what finally moved the needle. The peptide may have taken the edge off soreness between sessions, hard to say, could have been placebo, but the tendon didn't turn around until I got serious about the actual rehab work. I think people underestimate how boring and unglamorous th
- grinder265: Yeah thats kinda what I suspected but didnt wanna admit lol. My achilles thing flared up back in march and I jumped on BPC pretty fast without really commiting to the loading part. Probably wasted a few weeks expecting the peptide to do the heavy lifting (pun intended). The 8 month timeline you mentioned, was that total time dealing with it or just before you started the structured loading? Curious because im wondering if theres a window where loading alone stops being enough and you actually n
