Adamax vs Semax for daily focus work, anyone compared the two?

I've been using Semax nasal for a few months now and honestly the focus bump is there but it wears off fast, I feel like I'm redosing before my work block is even done. Then I saw Adamax on here and it's supposed to be a Semax analog with longer stability, same BDNF angle supposedly.
For anyone who's tried both, what actually changed for you day to day? Like is the longer window noticeable or is it more of a subtle thing on paper. I'm a little worried about stacking stimulation on stimulation too, Semax already gives me a tight jaw if I overdo it.
Also curious if splitting the dose vs doing it once makes a difference. With regular Semax I noticed one spray mid-morning and another around 2pm feels smoother than loading it all up front. Would that logic carry over to Adamax or does the longer half life make it pointless.
Not looking for a miracle, just trying to figure out if it's worth rotating in or if Semax already covers what I need. Would love to hear from people who've actually run both back to back 🔬

- grinder265: Ngl i only ran semax and never touched adamax so i cant compare head to head, but the jaw tightness thing is real and dose dependent for me too, goes away when i back off. If adamax actually has the longer window people claim then splitting might feel redundant, but i'd probably still try two smaller sprays spaced out before going to one bigger one. Smoother curve, less of a spike, easier to bail if the stim feels off. The real question is whether the BDNF angle translates to anything you can
- quiet_ironman: Yeah that last point is exactly what's bugging me too. I can feel Semax working in the moment, the laser focus is real, but is any of that actually translating to anything longer term or am I just renting focus by the hour lol. And good call on spacing it out anyway, I think I'm with you there, smoother curve sounds right even if the half life is longer. The jaw thing is the canary in the coal mine for me, if I feel it creeping in I back off right away now. Did you ever try taking a couple day
- weekendnate: Yeah the BDNF question is what kept me on Semax longer than I would've otherwise. I never got a clear "yes this is doing something cognitive" signal, more just the acute focus bump. The jaw thing tracks for me too, usually shows up if I stack it with caffeine on a heavy desk day. Two smaller sprays spaced out sounds reasonable, easier to titrate than committing to one bigger bolus.
- quiet_ironman: That's reassuring honestly. You're right about the caffeine combo, I didn't even connect that until you said it but yeah that's usually when I clench. Maybe I've been chasing focus with caffeine on top and then blaming Semax for the tightness. The BDNF thing is kinda what I keep landing on too, like I'm not sure I'm actually getting a real neurotrophic effect or just a short term stimulant vibe dressed up in fancier language. Did you ever try Adamax or just stick with Semax in the end?
